How good is my 8yr old at fortnite?

Hi All - this is my first post, thanks for any honest input. My question is how good is my son at fortnite?

He regularly finishes with 10+ kills and has several victory royales under his belt but lately im noticing him just excel. yesterday he scored a victory royale on solos with 15 kills. Is that just good? ok? mediocre? or do I have some serious future potential
ninja on my hands? I appreciate your thoughts thanks

It sounds like he’s pretty good. I’ve seen a lot of streamers get a victory with anywhere between 5-15 kills. It takes a lot of time and work to become a well known streamer. But to me, it sounds like he could potentially succeed in gaming.

Totally, He is a kid, but Im happy to support him in doing what he wants to do though. the kid is used to playing with no sound as only got headphone at christmas, and a mic for only the last month. He is completely self taught and plays alone and is beginner
by some standards as hes 8 and learning all the time like a sponge, he downloaded the game off his own accord.

Im 40 years old and dont play games at all so wont be playing any games with him but I do wish to support him if its something he wants to pursue and is good enough.

thats why Im here trying to get advice. because i dont have the first clue either and i to am trying to learn from him as we go and his knowledge is still very limited. but hell, the boy can play!

Honestly it’s pretty average, the main demographic of Fortnite tends to revolve around kids, just as a lot of us picked up CoD when we were younger; and wrecked face on that.
