    How long after I start watching a movie rental before the 48 hour timer starts? I only ask because I haven't really had the time to watch the movie and I've only managed to watch maybe 5 minutes of one.

    it starts when you press play, I recommend do not rent the movie until you're ready to watch it

    How to start a rented download movie?

    I was able to watch 57% of the movie before it stopped. I expected to finish watching it after the completed download but it never completed the download and of course the time limit ran out because once you start watching the movie you have a limited time
    to do so, not the 13 days before starting the movie.

    I will not be paying for downloaded or streaming movies through Xbox Video in the future.

    You could also select to download the movie entirely before watching it. Just make sure you don't start watching it, as this will activate the 24-hour timer on watching a movie. If you don't start watching, you have (I believe) 14 days to start watching
    it.

    If you watch the Kngslave movie that comes with the deluxe edition then it explains a lot of the holes in the game. I watched the movie before I started playing the game and they feed right into each other.
