How does this happen? Been downloading with ~25kb for days even though my connection seems...

Well, thank god for this info. This has been happening to me for the last 3 days and I am immensely frustrated with this problem. It doesn't seem to happen to my friends' xboxes. Is this happening only to some people and not all? Also, the dashboard sometimes
works for me and sometimes it doesn't. My connection seems to be fine though, no problems.

Sorry about not replying on any results a lots been happening in my family not all of it good. Anyway it seems that ever since I did the wired connection test followed by the update that I missed I am now able to play my games again even though it does still
disconnect me and its gotten to the point where it doesn't do it that much Anymore well it keeps me connected in like 1 out of ten sign ins or days....But still there has been some progress however little any more suggestions to further this progress?

Linksys Smart Wifi (latest firmware) installed and Running only my Xbox (Norman) on high media priority (otherwise it run EXTREEMLY slow and does not stay connected to games or parties)

I've been trying it out the last couple days, it still disconnects me randomly while playing games by myself, It does not seem to happen as often. Also does not happen while I'm connected to a party (though it never did before either) . I have noticed
that when i jump back into the dashboard i am automatically signed back into Live, which did NOT happen before.

Seems there have been a few updates in the last few days and now it is possible to buy things, not sure how region free this is right now though but it does look very promising!

Hello Mister Darcy (loving the username!) - sorry for the delay. Been a hectic few weeks!

I've tried downloading a smaller file on another UK profile and found that it also disconnected. Though I can't be sure of how long it took to disconnect because I was out at the time, resuming the progress showed it had only gotten to 1% before being disconnected.
This was a 64MB trailer, versus the previous attempts at downloading a 1.2GB DLC/Add-On on my husband's profile.

So it seems to be localised to downloading files, regardless of profile, even though the internet connection hasn't been lost and no other devices in the house have issues with connection.
