    How does the free weekend DRM work? Could one leave their system offline and play Forza 5 ...


    Just curious. Not missing out on Destiny on Tuesday to keep my console offline so I can play, but with these free weekends potentially getting more and more numbered as time goes on, could you essentially keep the game longer than the weekend by just not
    connecting to Live?

    Forza 6-Free to play this weekend

    Title says it all.

    If you fancy having a weekend of motorsport then Forza 6 is free to download & play this weekend.

    It is a vast improvement on Forza 5 & they are actually trying to do something about the idiots who deliberately crash into you online now with their "Forza Marshalls".

    With Games with Gold, Forza 5 was available, not Forza 6. Forza 6 had free sessions on weekends. Sometimes it happens to play for free some games for some time.

    Sorry you're upset. However, the free weekend of Forza 5 was well advertised online including this post on Major Nelson's Blog

    The game was free for the weekend only. It was not a demo but the full game with all features added (including earning achievements). After that you would have the choice to purchase the game if you liked.
