How does one earn the Saving Time medal?

The bubble help makes it sound obvious but ... how does one earn the Saving Time medal for Dash mode?

Windows RT 8.1 on a tablet.

Here is how I interpret that it is earned: I select a chain of 15 pairs of tiles and earn a pair of Time Tiles. I leave the Time Tiles alone while I complete another chain of 15 tiles and earn another pair of Time Tiles. So, now two pairs of Time Tiles on
the screen at the same time. I now select one pair of Time Tiles and then immediately select the other pair ... but no medal.

So how does it really work? Thank-you in advance.

Also note, you can't use it to add additional storage to your console as I had previously thought. So if you are running low on HDD space, this feature will not help you.

That's actually exactly how I thought the achievement worked as well. Let me check on this for you and see how it actually does work.

 

This didn't work for me either, and I tried twice.

Another new version of Taptiles today ... this is the fifth version of the game I've attempted to get this damned medal ... still no joy.

I'm starting to feel neglected now.

I'd like to know the answer to this one too. Helen, can you please let us know if you've heated back on this achievement yet, on behalf of anotherbozo, I'm starting to feel ignored.

 

Same question here. Tried matching two time tiles back to back, and also tried matching two sets of time tiles with each other (ex. One 6 sec with a 1 sec tile, then the other 6 with the other 1), but no success.

Maybe the numbers have to be the same and then you match opposites? Not sure what else to try.

 

I am also unable to get this medal. The wording in the description must be incorrect.

 

This was fixed in the recently-released 2.3 update for the game. Please make sure you're updated to the latest version of the game.
