How does my son redeem his microsoft money to buy the battle pass on Fortnite?

My son wants battle pass so I approved and bought him $10 of microsoft money. That shows on his account but it doesn't show in fortnite. It asks for permission again and says that he has to ask his parents again and to keep an eye out for what we say.

Well I haven't gotten any email and I've already bought him the $10 he should need. How in the heck does he get it so he quits bothering me about it?

He can also use his Microsoft account balance to buy v-bucks in the Microsoft Store.

Your son just needs to buy V- bucks from the store in fortnite. You will get a prompt for payment method then you just select from there. Keep in mind there's taxes and surcharge fee's.

Once he's purchased V-bucks he can buy whatever he can afford.

Since Fortnite is a cross-platform game, there shouldn’t be a problem gifting a battlepass from your son’s account on the Xbox One to his friend on PS4. I recommend purchasing the gifted battlepass in the Fortnite game/application, and not through the Microsoft
Store just to be safe. As long as your son and his friend meet the requirements for successful gifting shown in the link I’m attaching below, it should work fine.

You need of your son's e-mail and the option "Forgot my pasword", then a mail it's going to send to your e-mail (your son's) and there you can restore your password.

To start, if your son doesn't already own the Battle-Pass, it will cost you $10 USD/£8 GBP to buy the Battle-Pass as is.

Upon buying the Battle-Pass, you begin at Tier 1 and the maximum is Tier 100. He can unlock these levels simply by playing the game and completing in-game challenges for free.

Considering Fortnite is currently in Season 9 and has been in this season for a while, Season 10 is just around the corner and he may be wanting the extra in-game loot for reaching the higher tiers of the Battle-Pass, which you can also pay for. Depending on
