How does everyone fell about encounters with minors on age restricted games, and how should...

If I come across some kids I just don't engage with them. I'll play the game with them but that's it. I do think that kids shouldn't be playing games like GTA V or any other M game unless their parents are there playing with them. I personally would let
my kids play GTA V but only if I was there monitoring their game. There can be some very toxic adults that encourage kids to behave badly because they think it's funny, well it's not.

Blocking the account is one course of action. If you know they are under age to block them in the first place, you know they are underage and shouldn't be exchanging info with them anyway.

I am an adult gamer and I only block the most offensive and vulgar accounts. I also have two daughters who game, and frequently play with me. I've taught them never to exchange information online, and as an adult I know not to ask it of other players.

As an Ambassador we have a responsibility to promote awareness and foster safety in gaming. I try to pay attention to chat, and have intervened more than once when voice chat goes where it shouldn't. If you simply respect other players and acr appropriately
dealing with underage gamers is never an issue for you.

I don't chat in games anymore and as soon as I can I mute all players, then it saves any arguments you may get into and a possibility of a complaint. Parents these days use electronics as a form of baby sitter, saves them having to play or interact with
them.

I don't think it's an ambassadors role to parent people's children unless they're their own.

It's surprising how many people don't know how age ratings work.

If the age rating on a game is 18 then all that means is that it is illegal for a person under the age of 18 to buy that game or for someone to sell that game to a person under that age.

It is not illegal for someone under that age to play that game & that age rating applies to the single player only.

People saying Microsoft should do something,what exactly do you expect them to do? They are not braking any rules by playing that game online as the online part isn't rated.

If a store is selling games to under age kids then that's down to said store,not Microsoft.

If a parent is buying the games for their kids then that's down to the parents
