How does battlefield 4 play now?

just came to xb1 from ps4 and loved BF4 on it apart from at the start there where quite a few crashes that happened and save's lost, heard it was same story on XB1 also. But the last 1 week on BF4 on PS4 was fine, seemed to have ironed crashes and glitches.

just wanted to know if its the same (have they improved it) on XB1 before I buy it.

How does Battlefield 4 play on XB1?

@satsumo - the past, present and future of FPS are still the golden oldies - Counter Strike and Unreal Tournament.

Although Destiny is set as FPS, it has an array of other elements to it more than just FPS

I will continue to buy the BF series, i've owned every one so far and love them all, including the new one (even though it can be frustrating at times)

What is shocking is that EA don't think the Battlefield brand has been damaged by BF4:

"We Haven't Seen Any Damage" To The Battlefield Franchise, Says EA CFO - MP1st

I for one will never buy another Battlefield game. I'm sure BF5 will be great but I think by then there will be plenty of other games for me to focus on. Once the experience has been soured it is difficult to find the love.

BTW: Yes COD is a bit "meh" but at least it has always worked....but having said that I would only "consider" a Treyarch version of that franchise too.

The future (of FPS) is Titanfall, Destiny and Halo (and PvZ).

No more crashes, My SP save has stayed in tact for a few weeks now, that side has improved although there's a lot of laggy servers out there on Conquest Large. It's playable most of the time.

Awesome!!!!!! Truly Awesome, I played all night moved up another rank! working on my assault class rifles now, its Battlefield WITHOUT rent a server, that's the only thing I miss, the LONG matches, may have to plug in my Xbox 360 an jump into some BF3 games,
maybe I will even rent a server for a couple of days, Loving this game right now!

As I didn't throw it in there earlier, BF4 with all it's flaws is still way more fun than the laughably insufferable Ghosts. But as another poster said, in a week it won't matter, as most all FPS fans will be playing Titanfall.

But, when we need a change of pace, apparently the next Battlefield DLC will add a mode similar to Titans in BF2142, so that will totally be worth checking out.
