    The next step will be for you to try and perform a power cycle to your console by pressing down the power button on your console for 10 seconds until you make sure it is off. After that please unplug the power cable and wait for 10-15 seconds, then plug it back and switch your console on.

    Try turning the volume on your microphone down. That sometimes fixes that problem. The xbox microphones will sometimes pick up feedback though

    Whenever this had happened to my its usually caused by someone else in the party having the headset volume too loud

    You're basically hearing your voice being picked up by their microphone because their headset volume it set high.

    To test this ask others to turn there volume all the way down and then you test your microphone.
