    How do you stop xbox cloud gaming from randomly disconnecting/ how to prevent "Sorry, queue...


    I was playing a game and I was randomly disconnected. I now have to wait 4 hours. My internet is good and my computer is running fine. I've cleared cache recently. Is there an outside factor that I do not know about? This also happens while im waiting in the queue. I wait an hour and my 2-4 hour wait time gets reset randomly.

    Once while waiting in the queue for 2 hours, I spent an additional 30 minutes waiting because of the "Sorry, queue is taking longer than expected". I was forced to reload and had my wait time reset to 4 hours.

    Is there any plans to help with the server overload?

    Hi Ayden_Hester, my name is Courtney and I would be happy to help.

    I'm sorry for your bad experience with cloud gaming, unfortunately this is an issue that is affecting all of us gamers, but from what I understand Microsoft is aware of this issue and there is a team in charge trying to resolve these issues, but apparently it's nothing easy.

    But at least they are trying to resolve this, let's hope that soon we can enjoy cloud gaming without waiting so long in a queue to play. Keep in mind this is a public Microsoft forum where we are gamers like you who help other gamers with basic problems, this means we are not Microsoft employees.

    So I need to be disconnected from WiFi, wipe the cloud saves and local saves and I should be good? I’m on the Xbox and am not sure how to stop a particular game from saving to the cloud. I want my other games to save to cloud just not this particular game.

    If I were you and it randomly disconnects from your network like that, I would try to follow the instructions on our guide at "My Xbox One
    is getting randomly disconnected from Xbox Live    " for the best steps on how to resolve that.
