How do you select address during a service request

I've been trying to request service for a controller in warranty but when selecting the address if I select any region other than Aberdeen city(I do not live there) it gives me an error message when trying to complete the process but allows me to progress if I give the wrong address. Tried using the contact option but it always gives another error "We’re unable to process your request for a call-back. Please try again later."

Select the " See Contact Options" or "Request a Call" button
Select the following drop-down menu options in the following order:
What are you having trouble with? - XXXXXXXX
What's the issue? -XXXXXXXXX
The third box will ask you to describe your issue "XXXXXX" and then select the "Next" button.
The next window will provide you with support articles based on your request and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "See contact options" button.
On the final window, you will be presented with multiple options. We suggest selecting either the "Chat online" or the "Request a call" options to speak with someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

Once you add it here your account should be able to see the address during the warranty request, if this doesn't work you can try adding the device to a secondary account and request the service from it

I used the web chat function and it allowed me to input the relevant details so they emailed me saying: 'Your exchange request has been assigned to a member of our support team. You should receive an email with additional instructions in the next 24 hours.'

It didn't work for me at all. I gave up and won't buy anything Microsoft again.
