    How do you reset the safe area?

    Start > Options > Safe area. I don't have it in front of me, but I know it is in the options menu somewhere..I seen it.

    Awful bug...

    Try joining a friends game saving in a safe area, then rejoin your game. See if it resets the enemies or puts you in a different area.

    Just to confirm, what exactly is your Xbox console model? Is this the first time you're playing the game? Do your other games work fine in full display?

    Make sure that your TV aspect ratio is set to Automatic from your TV Settings.

    Try this setting as well:
    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings.
    Under General, select TV & display options.
    Choose the display and picture settings appropriate for your TV.
    Note: If you don't see the resolution for your TV, make sure to set TV connection to Auto detect.
