How do you refund virtual currency such as Minecraft Coins

I purchased the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft today, I already had java so I frankly didn't know how Minecoins worked. My gamertag is ImATurtle so I wanted to get a turtle skin and after finding one I selected it. I guess I didn't realize I had spent Minecoin
until my friend told be that I should have 700 when I only had 200. I was wondering If there was anyway I could make a return because I don't want the skin since I can just import my Java Edition skin. By the way I've already tried to get a refund through
Xbox.com/refund.

Mojang support. If the purchase is on the Microsoft account, you can try submitting a refund request form. Click here to learn How

just redeemed Minecraft Minecoins in-game currency but cannot find the 'coins' anywhere. @MSFT - where did they go? how do I find them?
