    How do you reach Level 2 + Xbox Live Gold in Microsoft Rewards?


    I was checking the Status page for MR and I was wondering how you reach the + Xbox Live Gold tier, and if you do, how long do you keep XLG? Just a month or until you fall out of the tier?

    Well I am curious about this because I have had xbox live gold for years and my Microsoft rewards is only a level 2 and not Level 2
    +Xbox Live Gold, what do I do to get the proper rewards?

    Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

    Reaching level 2 in Microsoft rewards doesn’t unlock or give you an Xbox live gold subscription.

    The benefits listed in the Level 2 + Live Gold are for accounts with an existing Xbox live gold or game pass ultimate (see picture)

    The only way to get live gold via Microsoft rewards is redeeming Game Pass Ultimate with your points

    So what you're saying is that the XLG subscription redeems itself the minute you reach level 2 and you don't get to choose when to redeem it?

    You unlock the level 2 earning always 500 points each month
    When you reach that quantity you’re going to stay in level 2

    You lost the level 2 + live gold when you are not subscribed to Live gold.

    For example, if you already earned 500 points and your subscription expires on Dec 10. You’re going to be level 2 + live gold until that date.
    If you don’t renew the subscription once Dec 11 arrives you’re going to stay only on level 2
