How do you make child changes take affect?

Ive tryed to change my child’s account settings on microsoft so he can play on minecraft severs and the like, but even when i click save after changing the settings, they dont seem to change how minecraft works (minecraft still says “you can’t play on servers
because of account setting”).

If you have a solution, please tell me

Hi there,

it often helps that after making changes the Child account needs to sign out and then sign in again on the device used befor changes will become active.

If not, how do I make myself an adult?

The system seems to take me as a child, since I can't change my Xbox settings.

When making changes to a child's account settings, the child then needs to log off the console and back on for the changes to take effect.

You are trying to change an adult account to a child account? While the age of the account is determined by the DOB on said account, we can change the privacy settings for this account to have child-like privileges.
To do this, just navigate to Settings>Privacy & online safety>and make the appropriate changes their.
