how do you locate a stolen xbox?

Do you mean "track" as in it has gone missing/been stolen and you're trying to locate it?

If your console was stolen, definitely inform the police and give them the console's serial number.

Keep in mind that Xbox Customer Support may not be able to assist you if you attempt to contact them directly in regards to your console, as they do not have the necessary tools to effectively assist you with locating your stolen console.

I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

Change your password immediately! So that whomever stole your Xbox cannot access your financial information. There is a step by step instruction for stolen Xbox's you can access it

The police would need to work with Microsoft to try to track it down. There is no way for you to track it yourself.
