How do you guys get away with providing zero actual customer service?

I go to turn on my X-box, and it asks me to "verify" my account. I haven't ever had to use the actual password so I've forgotten it and go to reset it. I have had nothing but issues every step of the way! The password reset doesn't work, pups up with an error saying "There is a temporary problem with this service." I then go and try to call someone but discover there isn't any way to contact an actual human being. I got through the stupid customer service app thingy that's an excuse to not actually provide customer service, mostly by just directly entering NEED TO SPEAK TO A PERSON, then at the end it informs me that they aren't even doing giving callbacks right now. After this I'm just about done. PS5 time for me! This has been nothing but a gigantic migraine and it's resulted with me giving up and deciding to sell my X-box and buy a PS5. I can't think of a greater customer service fail!

Hello Thomas, I'm sorry you are having difficulties contacting Xbox support, however try to follow the steps below to contact Xbox support.

Go to: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us/

See the bottom left part of the page and make sure that the page has the correct region that you are in (ex: United States - English for USA)

If not, click on it then select the correct region that you are in.

Check and confirm that you are within the available time of support under Contact times.

Click Contact us

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

On the page, see the provided support articles that may help you with your concern. Click See contact options if further assistance is needed.

On the next page, select either Chat online or Request a call option then follow or enter the needed details.

Please use the image underneath to choose the correct options so you can request a call back from Xbox support.

You will need to select see all contact options, then you should be directed to this window.

You will see the request call back option on the bottom. However, as it is currently 22:25 here in the UK, it is currently not available as support offices will be closed. If you try contacting them during the day, they should be available for you and may be able to help with this.

Please can you tell me if your region matches the region you are trying to connect to Xbox support with?

For example, my region is United Kingdom. So, the support site should be en-GB for United Kingdom.

It may be this that is causing the issue with reaching out to support.

I have, it won’t allow me to enter my number without logging in. Most of the time it won’t let me even request a call back. This was when I attempted at almost 11AM
