    How do you get your xbox in Dolby?


    I bought a Sonos arc and a Hue sync box. There are only 2 hdmis plugged into my sync box for cable and my xbox. I have a 65” LG Oled which does Dolby through the Sonos and the sync box works great with the gradient light strip behind it with cable. The Xbox also works great with the light strip as well. The issue I have is under the Xbox audio settings there is no option for anything else but stereo decompressed. No Dolby or anything so it won’t allow me to do fully Dolby. I have reset my Xbox and tv also bought all new hdmi cables. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

To check if you have an active license, go to the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One, search for "Dolby Access," and check if it says "Owned" next to the app. If it doesn't, you may need to purchase the app to get the license.

    Install and setup the Dolby Access App: If you have an active Dolby Atmos license, make sure that you have downloaded and installed the Dolby Access app on your Xbox One. Once the app is installed, launch it and follow the instructions to set up Dolby Atmos for Headphones.

    This is how it was solved for me.

    From Dolby access website:

    Open your console web browser and search for "Get Dolby Access." You should get a link that is titled "Get Dolby Access - MS Store" or similar. The URL will be a Microsoft URL, not a Dolby URL.

    2. Click on "Get the App."

    3. Choose to accept when the message prompts you to launch the Store app.

    4. Download Dolby Access or Headphones from this new instance of the MS Store. If already purchased, choose "Launch."
