    How do you get more gameshares?


    I was gamesharing with my dad but he recently messed around with the developer settings and reset the gameshare, I've already used all 5 for the year, and apparently also used the 6th one that was free, how do i get another?

    How do you get more gameshares?

    I've been game sharing for over 10 years and haven't even used 6. Pretty much only have to use one if you change Xboxes. How have you used 6 in one year?

    No. As stated here:

    Customer support can’t offer additional switches. If you’ve made five home Xbox switches for the year and you need assistance, select Help when
    you see the message Can’t make this your home Xbox. You may be eligible to receive an exception.

    If you don't have that exception you will have to wait until the limit resets.

    If you've already used an exception, then you'll have to wait for the limit to reset. There is no other way to get another reset.

    The gameshare/home console feature is meant for households with more than one console.It is not meant for sharing with your friends & doing so can get you into trouble.
