How do you get help for refunds for multiple payments for the same game?

My son purchased a game last week with my permission. So long as he asks first I then let him make the purchase with my card details which are on the account.

Unbeknown to me when he went to purchase it kept coming up with an box that gave him the option to 'try again' as there was some form of error. I'd left the room by this point. Typical!

He clicked this 20 times over the period of two days and its charged me £18.74 for each click. I logged into my account but it only shows one purchase but my bank account shows all 21 payments. Phone calls are currently unavailable and/or not an option for
refunds so I used online chat which just sends you down an automated response and solution route.

Long and the short of it - I managed to get a refund for 1x £18.74. My son still wants the game so I'm more interested in getting the 20 extra payments back rather than the one payment for the game.

Can anyone suggest how I get in contact with someone to talk about this issue as its not an option on their automated menu of issues.

Thank you for reaching out. You can try the following steps below to contact Live Chat Support.

Click on this
link.

Click on Contact Support , a chat window will pop up

Type in "Talk to an agent"

Select your product "Xbox" click "Next"

Select your issue " Other account issues" click "Next"

Click on " Chat".

Just a heads up: The technical Support agents are not in charge of processing refunds. Because all refund request must be done online

here. However, they can check your account purchase history, and In order to submit for a refund those duplicate purchases must appear as purchased in the Microsoft account
order history

Have you guys tried using multiple payment methods? Do you get this same error with every payment method you try?

You can request a refund by signing in to https://xbox.com/refunds.

Also, if ever the refund will be approved, the money will be refunded on the same payment method that was used in buying the game.

Is everyone trying to purchase the same game, or different content? Have you tried multiple payment methods, and still get this same error? If so, please contact phone support as this is most likely an account and/or billing issue and they would need to
help you with it from there.
