  2. How do you fix error code 0x89234013?

We tried the double NAT thing, and it got rid of it being on the Xbox (at least, it wasn't there that time, I haven't been keeping track of how often it was there so I'm not sure if it always was like that) but it didn't fix anything with the computer.

That did not change anything. I will look into updating my drivers and think more about what I installed that could have changed something. Thank you.

    How Do You Fix This?

hi my name is mel and i am an independent advisor. here are some solutions that hopefully should fix this issue- What to do when your Roblox Xbox game keeps on crashing

One issue that you might encounter when playing Roblox on your Xbox Series X is when it crashes or freezes. This can happen anytime during the game. Here’s what you need to do to fix this.

    Prerequisite:

Make sure to update the Xbox software.

Make sure to update your Roblox game.
    Solution 1: Restart Roblox

The first troubleshooting step you should do is to restart the game while it is running. This will remove any corrupted cached data that could be causing the freezing or crashing issue.

    Restart the game

    Press the Xbox button.

You can find this on your controller.

    Highlight the title.

    This will select the game.

    Press Menu.

This allows you to access the game system settings.

    Select Quit.

This will stop the game from running.

    Start Roblox.

    This will start the game.

Try checking if the problem still occurs.

Solution 2: Restart the Xbox console

A common cause of a game crashing is corrupted cached data stored in the RAM of the console. You can fix this by performing a power cycle. Press the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds or until it turns off. Unplug the power cord then wait for a minute before plugging it back in. Turn on the Xbox after a few seconds then try running Roblox again then check if it still crashes.

Solution 3: Try to use a different profile

Another possible factor that can cause this problem is a corrupted Xbox user profile. You can check if this is the culprit by using a different profile.

Press the Xbox button on the controller.

    Select Profile & System.

    Select Add or switch.

Try using a different profile. If only one profile is available then select the Add new option to add another profile that you can use for checking.

If the problem does not occur when using this new profile then you will need to remove your original profile from the Xbox then add it again.

Solution 4: Delete the game save file

A corrupted game save file can cause the game to crash. In order to fix this you will need to delete this file then resync with the cloud.

Press the Xbox button on your controller.

At the Home tab open My games & apps.

    Select See all.

Highlight Roblox then press the menu button on the controller.

    Select Manage game and add-ons.

    Select Saved data.

Select Delete all to remove the local save data.

After performing these steps try checking if the problem still occurs.

    Solution 5: Reinstall Roblox

If after performing the troubleshooting steps we have provided the crashing problem still occurs then this could already be caused by a corrupted game installation. To fix this you should try to uninstall the game then reinstall it again.

Having the Roblox crashing on Xbox Series X can be a frustrating experience. Hopefully, this solution will help you fix the problem.

    How do you fix this?

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello JeremyTheYeet, by your description you must be on PC, are you playing on Pc, what would be your operating system, Win 10 or 11?

Have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2.

See which version of Windows 10 you have

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/see...

Updates are often seen as optional.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update, and make all subsequent security updates.

    Download Windows 10

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Download Windows 11

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

    How Do You Fix This?

    1. Apply Some Basic Fixes

Begin troubleshooting the issue by applying these basic fixes, which may stop Roblox from crashing right away:

Whitelist Roblox in Windows Defender (See how to allow apps through Windows Defender). Also, temporarily turn off third-party antivirus software.

Turn off any anti-cheat software you use, even those that aren't directly related to Roblox.

Disable other programs running in parallel with Roblox to ensure the system don't crash due to a lack of resources.

Run Roblox as administrator to give Roblox a higher priority, which can prevent the game from crashing

Use the Microsoft Store App Until the Issue Is Resolved

Roblox users have reported that the error under discussion only affects those who attempt to join Roblox experiences from the web, not Roblox's Microsoft Store app. Because of this, if you have encountered a crash when joining an experience through the Roblox website, download Roblox's app from the Microsoft Store and join the experience through it.

Until the issue isn't fixed, continue using the Microsoft Store app to play Roblox experiences.

    Disable Virtualization From the BIOS

Virtualization allows Windows users to emulate another operating system, such as Linux. Having this feature enabled on Windows can cause the Roblox client to crash, and Roblox staff members recommend turning it off through the BIOS. Therefore, you should ensure it's disabled and disable it if necessary.

Turning off virtualization and accessing BIOS varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Here's how you can turn off virtualization on a Dell device:

Turn off your Windows PC and then turn it back on.

Press F2 when the Dell logo appears on your screen; this will boot your device into BIOS.

Go to Advanced > Virtualization or Virtualization Support > Virtualization.

Click on Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) and uncheck the box beside Enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT).

Click on Intel VT for Direct I/O and uncheck the box beside Enable Intel VT for Direct I/O.

    Check for Browser Interference

If virtualization wasn't already enabled, and you don't use any virtual machines, check for browser interference and ensure that's not causing the error.

To confirm this, switch to a different browser and run Roblox experiences there. If you don't get an error in another browser, it's a problem specific to your primary browser. In that case, here're a few things you can do to exclude browser interference:

Clear the cache and cookies in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or any other browser you use.

Disable or remove all your extensions to ensure they don't interfere with the process. Refer to our guide on how to disable or permanently remove the extensions on different browsers for instructions.
