    How do you download the new update?


    Hi

    I joined the insiders program today and heard there’s a new console update available but for the life of me I can’t see any option to download it. I even checked system update in settings and nada.

    Will it just get pushed to my console?

    Xbox One Installation times.

    When you put a new disc in the drive, there is inevitably an update that needs to be downloaded too. How do you know when the disc has finished installing and that the update is downloading in the background so that the xbox can be turned off?

    This is the only account I've ever had so it definitely wasn't purchased under a different one, that's why I can't work out why it isn't showing up anywhere

    How do you access downloaded games on a new console?

    Purchases are always tied to the account that purchased them. If they don't show on your account, then that usually means they were purchased under a different account. If that's the case, you would need the other account or repurchase the games on your own account.
