How do you delete your ea account properly

I understand you need help on deleting your EA account.

Are you talking about deleting the account completely? Because if that is the case, you would need to consult with EA for this since they are the only one that can delete your account completely.

Go to help.ea.com.

Select a game from the list.

Select a platform.

Select the topic “Manage my account”.

Then “Delete my account”.

Log in and send your account deletion request to support.

I'd also recommend checking your account on EA.com to see if your birthday is properly set on your EA account as well. It might be properly set on your XBL account but EA will likely be going by your age on the account you have with them.

If I may ask, how were you able to unlink your EA Account to your Xbox profile? Because according to the support site:

"Note Selecting “Revoke Access” for Xbox in the “Connected Account” section of https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/aboutme/index will only revoke Xbox's access to your EA information; however, your EA account will remain linked to that Xbox account. You need to contact EA customer support to properly unlink your Xbox and EA accounts."

This may mean that you will be needing to reach out to EA so they can properly unlink it.

I think you would be better off with a new account/new email if you wanted to get rid of your own Xbox Gamertag account.

You can't delete the account. You just let it go inactive.
