How do you connect a vpn to your Xbox.

I want to use a vpn to be safe from booters/hackers. I am not trying to go to other continents or something like that.

this is a network problem, no ETA for the solve, to connect to xbox live with your IP you need do a VPN connection

I am playin from Jordan, and some DLC are region locked, you can setup Virtual Private Network, and connect your xbox to the internet via that VPN, so you can trick your xbox that you are connecting from the states. Just google it and you will find alot
of tutorials and even videos how to setup that VPN on xbox, good luck.

When you say you are seen as a us connection do you mean you are runing a us VPN?

If so that would be the cause of the problem

You need an actual us connection not a VPN nor can we tell you how to bypass the filters

The only connection outside the us that is an actual us connection which is only something like a dod connection which does not use a VPN
