    Hello, I am experiencing difficulty connecting my Xbox controller to my PC through the wireless adapter. The user manual instructs me to press the sync button on both devices to pair them, but the issue is that my third-party controller does not have a sync button. It came with its own wireless adapter but it broke and it has stopped working completely. As a result, I have recently purchased a new controller and I am hoping to use it interchangeably with both my PC and Xbox. Could you please provide me with some assistance regarding this matter?

    The controller will not work with the Xbox wireless adapter if it comes with its own.

    Only Xbox peripherals work with it

    The device features a USB port, which is solely for charging purposes as it does not operate on batteries. The adapter appears to be in pristine condition, however, it fails to establish a connection with the controller. Instead of flashing repeatedly as intended, it flashes once and fails to repeat the process. Unfortunately, its lifespan was short-lived, as it was received as a Christmas gift and broke down in March.

    You would have to contact the manufacturer of your control pad and get another dongle

    has the controller an USB port ? So you would be able to use it with cable.

    And how about guarantee ? or is the adapter really damaged.

    If it was an expensive controller you might ask the firm for the price of a new adapter.
