How do you add people to your game, with the Xbox one controller?

In order to add a second player/controller to your NBA2K14 game you will need to log in to a second profile. Once logged in to this second profile you can add and set up the second controller in the same manner as you did for your first controller.

If you'd like to access the downloadable content you've downloaded for Alien isolation,assuming you're on an Xbox One, i'll show you how to do that below for the Xbox One.

How to view and download add ons for your Xbox One games:

1. You're going to want to press the Xbox button on your controller to the Home screen. Or you can just say "Xbox, go home."
   
2. Select my games & applications.
3. Highlight Alien Isolation, then press the menu button on your controller.
4. Select view game details.
5. Scroll to the right until you see the downloadable content or add-ons.

And if it's on the console, depending on the DLC it should appear in-game.

As far as MS is concerned it is required because they have a growing library of kinect titles and games that are enhanced by kinect. Add to that the requirement for kinect to fully utilize the Xbox One features. I don't know how many times I have to say
this for people to understand. The kinect is not an add on or peripheral, it is a standard controller for the Xbox One, just like the hand held. It is essential. You do not sell a console with only half the controllers needed to play the full library of
games. There is no altering this no matter your personal feelings on the matter. If the day ever comes tgat Microsoft stops support for kinect then you may see it removed from the standard xbox package. But given how integrated it is into the Xbox One, that
will not happen this generation.

At this point in time and for the foreseeable future of the Xbox Brand there are no "what if" and "they coulds" as far as the kinect goes.

Looks like what you have there is an original XBOX One controller where someone did a modification kit to it, (buttons, thumbsticks, D-Pad, etc) Pretty common for people to do if you have the know how and want to customize your controller.

If you still aren’t seeing something:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
2. Highlight—but don’t select—My games & apps.
3. Press the Menu button on your controller, then select Refresh and check for your item.

In your games list, focus on a game, press the menu button on your controller, then select
Manage game & add-ons.

Some add-ons are accessed in the game they go with, rather than getting installed separately. Any installable add-ons or DLC not yet installed will appear under Ready to install.
