How do we get the rewards?

I was wondering if we have to manually ask for a conversion for the rewards to microsoft points, or do they do the conversion?

How do we get microsoft reward points? Called tech they said come here...we bought Sea of Thieves and didn't get our points

It can take about 72 hours for the points to show after making the purchase. If it's been longer than that, you'll want to contact Microsoft Rewards customer
support.

Credits are automatically deposited by the following 15th or 30th of the month after you have at least 5,000 pending. You can request a deposit if you have at least 1,000 pending but less than 5,000. A request deposit button will show on the MyRewards section
of the site when you are in that zone and the credits are deposited on the date listed on the site at the time that you make the request.
