how do we claim the 50,000 rewards points for pre-ordering Xbox One S?

got an email a few days ago about a promotion to receive 50,000 rewards points and a select free game for purchasing an Xbox One S, but I haven't received any of that

xbox rewards not working?

i recently bought a xbox one x, downloaded the xbox rewards onto it (i had it on my xbox one). i noticed there was a offer on which was giving 50,000 points for buying an xbox one x. which i thought since id bought one id get them. Great!! haven't received
them! although when i make a purchase via the store i get rewards? and no rewards when i pre-order a game. still haven't gotten points for me buying the crew 2 from pre-ordering it. whats going on !! i only have 2,500points! help...

Unless there is a specific promotion running (such as the Upgrade to Xbox One S, or physical disc pre-order from microsoftstore.com in the US) we are NOT rewarded for making hardware or physical disc purchases.

The staff can confirm if you qualified for the One S upgrade, other than that unless the games you purchased were hard-copy pre-orders from microsoftstore.com, and you live in the USA, then those will not count toward MyVip/Rewards.

I also have the same question. I just bought a boatload of games for the holidays but I'm not seeing any Rewards credits or points. I got the 50,000 points for buying an Xbox One S but I haven't seen anything other than that.

Sounds like you may be in the same boat as me here are the terms and conditions of the offer:

*Does not include refurbished consoles. Pre-order consoles DO NOT qualify for free expedited delivery, but will qualify for the 50,000 Rewards Credits. To qualify for this offer, you must own an Xbox One, this must be your first time purchasing an
Xbox One S, and you must make your purchase from MicrosoftStore.com during the offer period. To get free expedited delivery, you must enter the provided code at checkout and order a console that has already released. This code is valid ONCE only. See FAQ for
more information.

In all if you already own an Xbox One, Bought an Xbox One S, Ordered from the Microsoft store and ordered before the 31st of December you should be good and entitled to the 50,000 credits, I believe we have to wait like 15 days after it arrives which I'm
sure has already past for you also.
