    How do Microsoft resize Xbox 360 game covers?


    When a Xbox or Xbox 360 game comes to Backward Compatibility, their covers are resized to a square, and resized to a 1080p or 4k wallpaper image (when you start the game). I have tried this myself, and the results come pixelated. When MS resizes game covers,
    the results come in HD (very good actually). How does MS do this??

    New Xbox.com profiles are up

    It would be cool if they allowed us to use our Xbox 360 gamer pictures on our Xbox One consoles. All they would have to do is resize them. It doesn't seem too hard for them to do as my Xbox 360 friends have there profile pictures resized on the website.

    You can resize it from the bottom to the top not from the sides, you can also adjust the transparency so it doesn't cover the game

    When you purchase an Xbox 360 game from the Microsoft store, it shows on the cover art that the game is for Xbox 360. The Xbox One games do not show that.

    have you tried running the game Not in Fullscreen? i had an issue with the Sudoku game where the ad would appear to the left of the normal spot and it covered the top right section of the game board. i had to resize it until only the game board showed,
    and none of the normal menu on the right. perhaps if you resize it differently it wll adjust to a useable shape. of course that's just a temporary workaround, but until they fix it, it's worth a shot.
