    Hello all,

    Can someone please help me figure this out? I am an original web browser Minecraft player, I have an old account. After Microsoft took over and released the new PC version, they gave me a free key to download the Windows 10 bedrock
    edition. I linked my account and redeemed my free copy of the new Minecraft successfully.

    Here's the problem: When I open bedrock, I am logged in to my Xbox Live account as a new Minecraft player. How the heck do I log in to my main Minecraft account?

    you cant they are completely different systems.

    they are currently working on it. eventually they will merge them and you will then need to use your microsoft account for both versions of minecraft.

    No, for some reason Minecraft.net does not show the purchased Minecraft Bedrock Windows 10 Edition. I did not run minecraft through the launcher, I downloaded it from the Microsoft store and just opened it without using the launcher.

    I am not an expert, and I have the same problem. I first bought the "Minecraft: Java Edition", I wanted to use the redeem code to get "Minecraft for Windows 10", so I clicked "Redeem", I got the code, but when I entered it, it said "The code has already
    been redeemed.", I checked my order history, it said that I had bought "Minecraft for Windows 10" using the code, but when I clicked install, it keeps showing me a small window with my code. I then checked whether if the account/email on Mojang, Minecraft.net,
    and Microsoft Store, it was the same. So I don't get why I can't install "Minecraft for Window 10".

    I saw that anyone who buys minecraft java edition is entitled to minecraft Windows 10. Is the reverse also true? Who buys minecraft windows 10 is entitled to minecraft java edition?

    If so, how do I access the java edition version at no additional cost?
