    How do I upload custom game clips to Xbox live?


    The ability to upload custom game clips to Xbox live through the app was removed a while ago. To do it now we have to find an app that is listed on the store as a game that allows us to view files for the Xbox storage and record it with game DVR. Does anyone know what one of these game/apps is called that currently works, and how to find/download them?

    Is the issue occurring with any Game Clip you upload? Or is it just with a specific game? If you check in Manage Clips in Upload Studio, how much available free space do you have on your Xbox Live profile? It will be displayed on the top right corner of
    the screen in Manage Clips.

    Clips > Saving, Sharing, etc

    Upload Studio lets you edit and share your recorded gameplay clips with the Xbox Live community.

    How are you going to share clips with a community your not subscribed to?

    MS isn't forcing you to do anything.

    Alternative buy the kit that will allow you to do it without live, (live is cheaper short term, or for getting used to it)

    Hi Gary,

    Do you take these clips on an Xbox One console or using the Game Bar on Windows 10 when recording your game clips?

    Usually clips are uploaded automatically to Xbox Live once you take the clip but if it's not uploading go ahead and

    restart your PC with a clean boot     and start up just the Xbox App. Try to upload the clip again after the clean boot.

    Make sure that the Xbox App is up to date by checking through the Microsoft Store and if that doesn't help look for the Xbox beta app and try uploading it through there.
