How do I update my Xbox controller on IOS or IPadOS

I agree with that, it's a iOS or iPadOS / Elite controller 2 problem because it works fine with other devices (on Android and Windows).

Who should we make contact with, Apple or Microsoft?? I think Apple that they'll come with an update.

Unfortunately, it appears that the Xbox app now requires at least iOS (iPadOS) 12. Just checked on an iPad 4 and got the same result as you.

My controller works perfect in the series X, even more, it works perfect in the apple devices mentioned using ios/tvos/ipados games. The problem is when I use it with xcloud.

I'm on the insider program, and I have applied all the last versions of firmwares to the controller. But in previous versions of the firmware, the result was the same.
