How do I unsync / unpair / disconnect a wireless Xbox One controller from the console

Hi,

I hope someone can post a solution for this as it's a little frustrating and strange.

It can't be the first time someone has asked this question.

I found only one other post on this and it was marked solved though it was wrong.

To be fair to the previous poster they did say it was a guess.

But unfortunately it didn't work.

The suggestion was to go to the settings and under Devices turn it off but there is no option there.

Nor does pulling out the batteries.

I've scoured YouTube also without any success so I'm at a loss on this one.

Everytime you search for anything regarding controllers you'll get hundreds of thousands of hits telling you how to connect or some similar related result both nothing to achieve disconnecting it.

So telling me to do a search anywhere hasn't worked for me, if it has for you i'd appreciate if you would provide a link.

Thanks in advance for any useful tips n suggestions.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Under Kinect & devices, select Devices & accessories.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. in regards to your question about how to "unsync" a controller from a console. There really isn't a setting or button to do so on the console. The only way to "unsync" a controller would be to sync or bind the controller
