How do I turn one account into two different accounts.

Me and my dad have had this account for quite a few years now. He uses it for many Microsoft services, I use it for Xbox, one note, and one drive. We have two different emails and would like to separate the account into two. Is it possible for him to keep his services and me to not loose all of my xbox data under a different email.

So you have two emails for the one account. There is no way to separate it. It's all one account. One of you will have to create a new account.

I can do the same. Play games on my secondary account on xbox. But not on my primary account so two different accounts on two different xboxes. The oneX says i need to log in to play games. But the older one doesnt. So this appears to be an account issue
not a hardware issue. So someone must have turned off or deleted the files responsible for knowing what accounts have what on them games wise.

Hello Brendon, try to log in again with your account, sometimes the code you see after the # is a code for the system, locate it easier, sometimes it appears and sometimes it does not, but while you can enter your account it does not mean that have two,

Hi BrendonStreeter, did u correctly sign in with your real account ? Have u try to disconnect and sign in again ? You said :

You mean a "different" tag or just a tag. On some screens, i believe the tag don't exist on Xbox, just on app or on PC but i'm not sure.
