how do i turn off networking for xbox

Hi....I do not have an Xbox or any gaming unit attached.

Don't see go offline.

Which Guide are you referring to? One for Xbox? How do I get to that? Xbox Console Companion or Xbox Game Bar> Did not see Go Offline in any settings

On your Xbox console press the middle X button on the controller. The Guide will appear from which you can navigate to Settings>General>Network settings>Go offline.

If you are seeing a screen asking to turn off console, you are pressing the button too long. It only needs a light press and the Guide should appear

From the Guide choose Settings>General>Network settings>Go offline. Be aware you will need to go back on line to get any System or Game updates. Also your game saves wont be sync'ed with the cloud while the console is offline.
