How do I turn off casting on my Xbox Series S

Exactly, thanks for confirming this isn't just me (I suspected it wasn't just me as I have confirmed this on multiple different consoles). Are you on an Xbox One as well? Or series X/S? Trying to see if its also an issue with x/s consoles but simply don't have one to confirm.

Yep, my application that I developed to cast to consoles no longer works either. It's frustrating because this is absolutely an issue with the new Xbox update, not with the casting device. So there is nothing I can do to fix my app until Microsoft confirms this is an issue and addresses the bug

You can turn off crossplay globally, so you'll only ever be matched up with other Xbox gamers. Here's where to find that setting: -

Obviously, doing that will potentially increase your queue times in games.

As for skill-based matchmaking, some games have it, but it's up to the developer if/how it's implemented.

Hmm so you can confirm this works with series X/S consoles? I don't have one to test with. The issue that I am seeing is for Xbox One consoles for sure though. Do you have an Xbox One to test with (which will fail to cast for sure)? How do we get this bug on Microsoft's radar to fix? As I am sure this is an issue on Xbox One (and confirmed by Gabriel above).
