    How Do I Transfer My Xbox Live Gamertag to a Different Microsoft Account?


    So I have both Minecraft Java and Bedrock, but my Java account is linked to my personal email (not my Microsoft account) and my Bedrock account is linked to my dad's Microsoft account (I got it when I was like 8). I just got the go-ahead from Mojang to migrate my Java account to a Microsoft account, and realized that I wanted to have both accounts on the same Microsoft account (mine). I can't find any way to move my Xbox Gamertag and my Xbox Live account from my dad's Microsoft account to my own. Can anyone help me?

    If this is not possible I would be willing to make a change.org petition to Microsoft to make this a thing (and will post it on the forums).

    So I guess a better question would be, are DLC licenses tied to the specific xbox live account that bought them, or the gamertag associated with that account?

    If one transfers a gamertag using these steps (support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account),
    does that transferred gamertag have access to the download history of the account it was just transferred to?
