How do I transfer my Minecraft worlds from my Xbox One S to my PC?

Realms definitely works to transfer worlds! That is how I did it. I transferred about 8 worlds from Xbox to PC through my 30 realms trial. Steps to do this are simple, as well.

Start your realm trial and save one of your worlds as the realm world.

Then open Minecraft on your PC and download the world.

If you have more than one, like I did, rinse and repeat the above steps!

You can transfer your Minecraft World to another device using a Realm. You must have an active Minecraft Realm to do this. If you have not yet used your Realms free trial, you can use that to transfer your worlds. For more information about Minecraft Realms and how to start a Realm, go to:

Note: You must use the same edition of Minecraft and the same Xbox Live account to transfer worlds.

From the first device, click the pen icon next to your Realm from the Realms list

Click Replace World and confirm.

Choose the world you want to transfer.

Wait for the upload and then click Let's go!

Open Minecraft from the second device and click the pen icon next to your Realm from the Realms

Click Download World.

Wait for the download and then click Let's go!

Your world should now be transferred from one device to another. If you want to transfer another world, repeat the same process.

you used to be able to use file explorer app on the console to access the worlds and transfer to a pen and then add them to pc, this has since been removed so other than using realms there is no other way to transfer your worlds across.

I'm having the same problem. Got an Xbox One S for Christmas, bought Minecraft for the Xbox One and now can't transfer my world from 360 to One.

As to my knowledge, the ability to move your Minecraft Worlds from one device to another is unavailable. The only certified way which I know how to do this is through PC, but that won't really help in this case. I don't recommend you to try any other option to save your world(s) from corruption.
