How do I transfer clips and screenshots from Xbox Network to OneDrive?

I have spent the last couple of days trying to back up my captures from my Xbox to the onedrive. I have upgraded my storage to 100GB of space. I have just over 10GB of captures to upload, so space isn’t an issue.

When attempting to upload from console storage (XBOX Series S) to the onedrive, it says it is successful yet they do not appear in my onedrive anywhere.

Secondly, when attempting to upload the captures stored on the xbox network to Onedrive, the console states “Failed to upload one of the items. Sorry, something went wrong attempting to upload one of the items. The items still selected have not been uploaded.”

None of the captures get uploaded, whether done in bulk or one at a time when transferring from Xbox network. Also the ones that are transferred from the console storage do not show up in onedrive at all.

Did you by chance also test for clips and screenshots already located on the Xbox network? I suspect the issue for most is there. I can upload my screens to onedrive just fine as long as they are located on the actual xbox but all of those hundreds of other screens and clips from a decade of snapping that are on the xbox network just flat out refuse to transfer over to onedrive.

I don't even know what folder they are supposed to go to. I see a Videos folder, but nothing in it. Xbox will tell me it's uploaded to OneDrive, but I never see them.

The only way I've been able to transfer is to use the Xbox app, in Captures, I'm able to download and share to a specific one drive folder. A bit of a hassle but at least I can get them.

That is not what they asked. The question is *where* do the captures go on OneDrive once you upload them. What folder do the captures upload to, as I'm having the same issue finding them on OneDrive once upload is done.

for my xbox videos. in onedrive-videos there is a folder called Xbox Game DVR. that's where mine are showing

I have the same problem. I have purchased the 100Gb plan so space is not an issue. When I upload my Xbox captures to OneDrive it says it should take a couple of hours but nothing appears. It was working a week ago but now nothing seems to upload to OneDrive. I know where they should appear but for some reason they are not showing up. I have until January 2024 before my Xbox captures are automatically deleted and there is nothing I can do.
