How do I sync up my controller?

Please, reset your controller pairing.

To unpair it, press and hold the pair button on top of the controller for a few seconds until it vibrates twice.

Remove the batteries, wait for a few seconds, and reinsert them.

Once this is done, try to pair it again.

Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button.

Press and release the Pair button on the Xbox Console.

Within 20 seconds, press and hold the controller’s Pair button (a circular button on top of the controller as you hold it in your hands) until the controller's Xbox button flashes a few times.

That means it's searching for a console.

The Xbox button stays lit once it's connected.

The old controller work with the Xbox 360 slim. Have you been following these steps to sync your controller?:

To sync them up, power on the Xbox and the controller. Then push the sync button on the Xbox (small black button next to the USB ports on the front), then push the sync button on the controller (location varies depending on the type of controller). When
you push the sync button the green light will spin in a circle (on both the Xbox and the controller). If the light doesn’t spin in a circle then it isn’t in sync mode and you might have a problem with the controller.

I did this with my own Xbox slim and my old controllers so I know it is possible.

How do I fix the problem of constantly trying to reconnect my controller!? I follow the steps to re-sync my controller and it never works

Hi Jennifer, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To sync your wireless controller to Xbox One you can simply press both the sync buttons on the Xbox wireless controller and the Xbox One console.

In regards to double NAT detected, there are settings that you may need to change depending if you have a modem or gateway.

I had to unplug my xbox in order for my controller to sync to something else. I dont know if there is any other way to do it but that is how I had to do it.
