The offer was in the actual in game loading screen while on my xbox one s at the time. I'm not sure if I am subscribed to xbox live or game pass ultimate? Not sure how to check. I do put xbox live gift cards in. I'm pretty sure my friend isn't subscribed
either. I sure hope this applies to me because I recently purchased shark cards and I would really appreciate the bonus.

Buying the subscription using the gift is just like you use any other payment instrument. First select the subscription you want to buy> select buy> select your Microsoft credit in order to pay using the gift card.
