How do I stop sending my friends notifications that I am live?

I want to stream, and I like to stream in a party with my friends while we play the same game. They are CONSTANTLY getting notifications. Its as bad as getting two notifications within maybe 5 minutes? I can't stream and play with friends because of this. Is there any way to stop sending out notifications? All I have been able to find is that I can only stop receiving notifications, but I can't stop sending them.

But that stops them from seeing you are online at all. How do you stop sending notifications that you are online but still let them see you are by going to their friends tab. It’s the notifications are the privacy problem.

To disable sending live notifications, you can adjust your account privacy settings by signing into the privacy and online safety page on your account.

Go to Profile and system > Settings > Account > Privacy and online safety > "Others can see if you're online"

I am also having this issue, as well as a friend of mine. I have tried turning select notifications off, such as group and party notifications. My friend has tried turning notifications off entirely. Neither attempt to stop the notifications has worked.
