    How do I stop my Xbox from freezing the video and audio while playing GTA 5


    Whenever I play GTA 5 it pretty much crashes after 1 to 3 minutes of playing it. So how do I resolve the issue to where it won't crash? I've tried restarting the game, the console, unplugging the power chord for 10 seconds, uninstalling and re-installing it but it doesn't work. Can anyone please help me with this problem?

    Has it always been like this or has it only started in the last few days? I ask as there was an Update on the 15th so it may be causing it, in which case you'd need to contact R* so that they can patch it.

    Also, which console are you on?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    You may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.
