How do i stop a ddos attack?

Alright, ima start off strong by saying xbox is not secure at all and ive been getting ddos attacked multiple times and havent been able to play for atleast a week every time. it says 100% packet loss and disconnects me everytime i try to load in a obline game like Cod mw 2019, Gta online, or anything and everything else works perfectly fine and i just need help on how to fix it. ive restarted, unplugged the system and let it sit for about 5 minutes, disconnected the wifi and put in the password again. closed application and restarted it only to find the same text, (The Rockstar services are currently unavailable, The xbox live services are currently unavailable, and its not my subscription expiring i just got a xbox live card about 5 days ago. i just really need help or im gonna sell my xbox, sell my phone, sell my tv, and just start a new life.

There is currently a service outage that would be causing some of the issues right now. http://xbox.com/status If you have been getting a ddos attack, you'd need to contact your ISP since the attack would be done through your internet and not the Xbox Network.

Actually, I'd avoid law enforcement at this step- typically Denial of Service attacks are resolved relatively quickly (5-10 minutes with a system refresh) and then we would advocate reaching out to your ISP.

What should I do if I think I've been attacked?

If you think that your Xbox console or computer has experienced a DoS or DDoS attack, do the following:

Reset your Internet router.
Contact your ISP.
If you are certain of the identity of the DoS or DDoS attacker:
- Contact the attacker’s ISP.
- File a complaint against the player with Xbox Live. Select the "tampering" category on the complaint form.
Avoid that individual on Xbox Live in the future.

What can I do to stop the attack?

If you're currently experiencing a DoS or DDoS attack, try resetting your Internet router (that is, your DSL or cable modem), which may resolve the DoS or DDoS attack. A complete reset requires turning off the power for 5 to 10 minutes. This will increase
the likelihood that you will get a new IP address that the attacker will not have access to.

If you still experience the DoS or DDoS attack, contact your ISP.
