How do I solve my problem with Ethernet cable connection?

Yes, I always turn off the console and remove the power cable from the socket, when I stop playing, though I don't turn it off by pressing the Xbox button on the console itself.

If you connect another device to that cable and it works fine such as a laptop, that would suggest the cable and router is fine. It would point to the Xbox network port potentially being faulty.

Have you tried fully power cycling the console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for around 10 seconds, wait for it to fully shut down. Remove the power cord for 5 mins then connect and power back on.

Ok so whenever I plug my ethernet cable into my xbox it does not connect to xbox live or the internet I'm wondering how to solve this problem because the cable works perfectly fine in my pc but my xbox doesn't seem to like it

Problem might be solved. My Xbox was using a wired connection to my router. Because I have a 360 S, I decided to remove the ethernet cable and run off of a wireless connection. The problem has, so far, disappeared.
