How do I set my senitivity for my xbox controller

When I try to type information in to my xbox using my controller when I put the right or left direction it goes too many letters or numbers a time instead of one at a time how do i set the sensitivity on my controller

ok HOW?....how can I set both my XBOX controller and my Saitek AV8R to work simultaneously on the same control port?.....I'm sure it has something to do with wireless XBOX controller and wired flightstick...but how do you make 'em both work on the same port,
so all you have to do is quickly set one down and grab the other in a pinch?

My controller is not working correctly, in game it is slow even when my senitivity in all the way up, however its fine accept that; on the menu it wont go right or up with the left analoge stick but all other dirrections are perfectly fine, and this is the
only problem on the menu?

 

At least for standard Xbox controllers, there's no way to adjust sensitivity on the joysticks.

If you're having trouble selecting letters on the onscreen keyboard for typing out messages, you can use the D-pad on the controller, which I personally find easier for menu/keyboard input.

Alternatively, you can download the free Xbox app to your smartphone (iOS/Android)
and connect it to your Xbox One through Wifi. When the onscreen keyboard appears on your Xbox, the app will let you use the smartphone keyboard as input.
