How do I resolve a Fatal Error with Oblivion Remastered on PC Gamepass?

Please verify game file integrity because a corrupt game files can cause crashes. To do this, open the Xbox App. Locate Oblivion Remastered, click the Menu button (three dots), and select Manage > Files > Verify and Repair.

And then reduce the graphics settings in Oblivion Remastered such as lowering anti-aliasing, shadows, or texture quality. Run the game in Windowed Mode or reduce the resolution temporarily.

Next is to temporarily disable overlays such as NVIDIA GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar, or Discord that can interfere with gameplay.

Then test without mods. If you’re running mods in Oblivion Remastered, one or more mods could be unstable. Temporarily disable or remove all mods to see if the crashes stop.

It seems to be a DirectX error. Generally, the DirectX components of Windows don’t usually have problems, and it’s usually caused by the graphics card driver. You can try to refer to this article from Intel to completely uninstall your graphics card driver and reinstall it (you can use Advanced Search to try several driver versions).
