You could try booting the Xbox into Low Res mode so you can change the setting back to auto. You can do this by doing the following.

1. On the console, press and hold the Power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds to turn off the console.
2. Press and hold the Power button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You'll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later.

You should then be able to get into settings to change it.

Ive accidentally enabled 50hz in the US and now TV nor the TV & oneguide menus are displayed. Does anyone know how to reset this? Or can someone post screen shots of every menu to get back to the 50hz setting so I can do it blind?

I discovered something with a theory I had and want to share to see if it helps. Go to your settings, display, and then find and turn off the display discovery option, my theory is this automatic display discovery feature tries todetect your tv's display
dimensions and refresh rate to optimize resolution, but it does it at random, and all xboxes reset when inputs change, and this is what I believe is happening, a hiccup in the random test by display discovery makes the xbox think the inputs changed and forces
a reset. I never turned off cloud storage or background downloads, my system reset atrandom after turning display discovery on, and ended after turning it off. I'd say give it a try, if it works, then we may have found the problem behind the issue.

So i found the culprit and it was again a sharing option that was bugged out however it wasn't visually displaying this so unless you change all options and change them back you wouldn't really know how to fix this but just in case anyone is having the same
issue this is what i did to fix it.

Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox live privacy > View details & customise > Game content > You can see and upload community creations.

This last part is how i fixed it ( You can see and upload community creations ) For me this option was displaying as "Everybody" I changed it to block then back to everybody then hard reset my console and this is what fixed my issue.

Hopefully this works for anyone else that may be having a similar issue. Remember, just because it displays everything working as it should be it doesn't mean it actually is.

when you login to your console, you can download all your games and apps. You will find it under my games and then ready to install.
