How do I report someone for trying to steal an account?

So I got accepted into a group post for someone who needed help with a yt tho um mail and I did what they asked, but after they said they’d give me a $10 Xbox gift card code for helping and I was suspicious but went along with it so they had me go to Microsoft.com/link and put in a code which I did. I didn’t give them the 2fa code though and I left them just to see that same group post reposted and I’m worried that someone will fall for it. I have their gamer tags for the people that are in on it.

After I report them is there any way of being notified if something happened to them or not? Because I’d personally like to know if they got banned or something so I don’t have to worry about other people anymore. If not that’s ok. And thank you very much for your help

It would be best to report this profile right away so that the enforcement team will be able to investigate this gamertag and for them to get sanctioned on what they are trying to do.

Assuming you are playing an epic game, most publishers require a login

IF you received this via your messages, it's someone trying to steal your account and you should report it
