How do i remove the on-screen popup keyboard for xbox? would really help to have it off...

My console is beside my PC. I find it much easier to use the Game Bar (Windows+G key) to send messages. Unless you're trying to type from within the game itself.

What works for me sometimes is hitting B on my controller. When I want to type and the on-screen keyboard shows up, I tap B on my controller and that removes it allowing me to type with my attached keyboard.

Popup keyboard is having the same issue. Super zoomed in so I can only see the text box just at the bottom of the screen, cant see any of the letters.

Friend, really the only way to remove this option is through the application itself.

You can disable the on screen keyboard. Get the Windows 10 App, you can turn it off from there. It's under "settings" and under the headline "Typing on my Xbox."

Afterwards, the keyboard option will stop appearing.

I use Microsoft edge on Xbox quite a bit and would like to be able to turn off the on-screen keyboard when typing. I use a mouse and keyboard, so I don't

need the on-screen one. As of right now, I can't find a way to turn it off, I just see an option to change the size of the on-screen keyboard, but not turn it off.

I do have the latest Xbox and Edge version.
